Who work with Metodix?
The groups/persons working with or in Metodix consist of users, expert producers, the evaluation group and the manager team.
- Users include students, researchers, teachers, as well as work and civil organisations. They can also act as expert producers when providing manuscripts for Metodix.
- Expert producers produce ordered contents (expert data, articles) into Metodix. They can work as independent researchers or represent their departments or universities.
- The evaluation group, which consists of experts of scientific communities as well as of representatives of other user groups, guarantees the high quality of Metodix data.
- The manager team consists of development and maintenance personnel.
Who is behind Metodix?
Metodix Ltd with the lead of professor Paula Kyrö is responsible for the Metodix contents and for the virtual pedagogy of the environment. Paula Kyrö is a founder member of Metodix-environment. Expert data and articles are produced in co-operation with researchers from different countries.
The technical maintenance and development of Metodix environment is the responsibility of Hannu Linturi, also a founder member of Metodix, and the IT-manager, both representing the Internetix community.
Legally both companies are responsible for their own functions with respect to the clients.
The development of Metodix environment has been financed by different sources e.g. The European Social Fund. The research and development project TUKEVA has been closely involved in the manuscript production. These articles are marked with an EU-flag.
