Target groups of Metodix

Metodix has several target groups.

1. As a research and learning environment Metodix serves universities, polytechnics and other educational and research establishments as well as their staff, students and teachers.

2. The broader target group consists of work communities. Metodix can be used by different users and organisations. Metodix includes tools for internal communication for learning organisations, group work, studying and research.

3. The third target group is composed of all the actors in civil sector, who want to study research methods interactively online, or those who just want to get their hands on material concerning research methodology.

The characteristic and desirable nature of the target groups of Metodix is that a user acts both as a user and a producer of knowledge. In future, for example, final theses can be saved into a virtual library, in which they can be scanned and read by everyone.
